The following terms and conditions apply to the commercial passenger transport services (taxi, minibus and bus service) of Hamburg Transfers and to the services offered under the domain www.hamburg-transfers.de. The business relationships between Hamburg Transfers and the customer are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The contract language is German.
The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, insofar as the customer is a merchant or a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law. The same applies if a customer does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or if the place of residence or habitual abode is not known at the time the action is filed.
The offer and use of services, such as registration and booking of trips, is only aimed at legal entities and natural persons who have reached the age of 18. This applies to all access to the offer, including the website, mobile website, smartphone applications (apps) and direct contact (telephone customer service, email, fax, etc.)
Inquiries, order placement and contract conclusion are made via the website www.hamburg-transfers.de and the telephone customer service of Hamburg Transfers.
After selecting the vehicle and entering the customer data in the corresponding input mask, the binding price is displayed and offered accordingly. The non-binding offer can be accepted immediately by clicking on the \"Book\" button and then becomes a binding booking. The booking confirmation with all booking-relevant data is sent immediately by email. Acceptance and conclusion of the individual contract takes place promptly with a separate booking confirmation.
The customer must ensure that he is reachable by telephone at least 60 minutes before the start of the booked trip. For airport pickups, the customer's availability must be ensured immediately after the customer's aircraft has landed.
The customer is obliged to inform Hamburg Transfers immediately of all circumstances that may affect the booking-compliant execution of the booked transport. If the customer does not meet the Hamburg Transfers employee at the agreed meeting point, the customer must immediately contact the Hamburg Transfers service hotline.
The service obligation of Hamburg Transfers is based on the information provided by the customer when booking. The information in the booking confirmation thus represents the content and scope of Hamburg Transfers' service obligation. The scope of the service obligation consists of the timely pickup from the starting point and transport to the specified destination, including the selected booking options (special requests, intermediate stops, etc.) that were specified during booking and confirmed with the booking confirmation.
Generally, a maximum of 3 people can be transported per booking and trip in a standard limousine (upper mid-range and luxury class). When booking a large-capacity taxi, up to 7 people can be transported.
For transportation of more than 7 people, the maximum number of people to be transported is determined by the Hamburg Transfers booking confirmation.
For passengers up to 12 years of age with a height of less than 150 cm, there is an obligation to use a restraint system (child seat). A service obligation of Hamburg Transfers exists in this case only if the transportation of children was indicated in the corresponding option field during booking, or communicated during a telephone booking, and in both cases confirmed with the booking confirmation. When booking, the age, height and weight of the children to be transported must be specified.
The transportation of luggage is based on the capacity of the trunk. There is no claim to transportation of luggage that exceeds the capacity of the trunk. In principle, each passenger only has a claim to transportation of one suitcase and one small handbag.
Weapons and dangerous goods are excluded from transport. The responsibility for the contents of the luggage lies solely with the customer. Hamburg Transfers has no obligation to check the customer's luggage.
The transportation of animals is only part of the service obligation if the safety of passengers and driver is ensured and the required space is available, and this was previously indicated during booking in the corresponding option field and confirmed by Hamburg Transfers in the booking confirmation.
Hamburg Transfers may refuse to transport the customer if proper execution of the transport is endangered due to the customer's intoxication or influence of narcotics. In this case, the customer must still pay the agreed transport fee.
The customer is responsible for carrying the appropriate documents (in particular ID cards or passports) that are required for the booked trip, especially for trips abroad. Hamburg Transfers has no obligation to check this.
Cancellations must be made in writing (by email) or by telephone. Cancellation fees depend on the time of cancellation: More than 72 hours before trip start: Free | 24-72 hours before trip start: 50% of fare | Less than 24 hours before trip start: 100% of fare
Exceeding the waiting time of 30 minutes releases Hamburg Transfers from the service obligation, provided the booking was not made with the flight number specified!
For any waiting times due to announced delays of the customer and subject to the continued availability of the Hamburg Transfers vehicle, the following waiting fees (standby fees) apply after the free waiting time of 30 minutes has expired and will be invoiced accordingly afterwards or collected on site. Contacting Hamburg Transfers by the customer is mandatory for using additional waiting time. If contact is not made, it is at the discretion of Hamburg Transfers or the driver to complete the service without execution after the free waiting time has expired.

The driver's instructions must be followed in all respects, especially with regard to safety-related aspects. There is an absolute smoking ban in the vehicle as well as a general seat belt requirement. The customer is fully liable for damage in or on the vehicle that is caused before, during and after the end of the trip by improper behavior of the customer or the persons participating in the transport, or that arises from not following the driver's instructions. This also applies to any contamination in and on the vehicle caused by animals, children, other persons participating in the transport, and the customer himself.
Liability for damages is only assumed in the case of gross negligence or intent by Hamburg Transfers or the driver employed by Hamburg Transfers. In the event of a delay by Hamburg Transfers, liability is limited to the scope of services of the original transport to the booked destination, unless the delay is due to gross negligence or intent on the part of Hamburg Transfers. No liability is assumed for delays due to unexpected traffic conditions - this applies to both pickup and arrival at the destination. In the event of injury to life, body or health, the liability of Hamburg Transfers is determined by legal provisions.
All prices stated include statutory value-added tax (VAT). Payment is made immediately after booking in advance. Payments can be made either by credit card via the payment link sent by us or in real time as an IBAN transfer to our business account. Proof of payment must be sent to us after payment has been made.
